Come along and enjoy this relaxing workshop using innovative approaches to explore textures and textiles and learn how to turn difficult to recycle materials into useful and decorative objects. You will create interesting surfaces by applying a hot iron to plastic which causes it to crumple and melt in a curious way.
Threads of vibrant bright colours, textures and yarns can be interwoven amongst other recycled materials to create various shapes and pattern. This can be used to produce pictures or decorate objects and enhance twigs collected from the magnificent Waunifor gardens. There will be an opportunity to experiment with a number of different ideas and forms during the course of the session. Suitable for all ages.
